2012 Malossi Powered Vespa S50
Hi everyone, My name is Cole. I am the proud owner of a 2012 Vespa S50 which i bought in June of last year, so i have had my scoot for almost a year now. After purchasing the scoot, i ran into the problems that many 50cc owners have with theirs once i became accustomed to riding it(as i had no motorcycle experience prior). It didnt have enough top end, it didnt accelerate quick enough, and it pro longed commutes. But i am a child of the FAST AND THE FURIOUS era. When i was growing up all my friends and i fixed up what cars we had, and although i always dreamed of owning a vespa, my friends all have Honda Ruckus'. I figured why let them have all the fun so i sought out to beef up the 50cc motor. Now for those of you that might ridicule me or ask "why didnt you just get a 150?", I keep the scoot in Georgia, and there a 49cc scoot falls under that states "moped law" where one does not need a class M license, registration, tag, or insurance. Once you buy it, its yours and you can drive it as you please except on the Interstate Highway. Now I am well aware that with my mods it isnt "street legal" and it does no longer fall underneath the moped law, but in Macon,GA, noone is going to pull me over, and have my vehicle towed for inspection and make me register it as a motorcycle because my scooter isn't what is indicated by the paperwork. Ok so heres the journey so far(may not be in order).

If you ever find yourself between San Antonio, Texas and Austin, Texas, I invite you to try out my well sorted 300 Super. I can totally appreciate why you did it! Has it ever been on a dyno? Just curios.

Brutal way to make a living, but so primal it has an epic quality, us humans are connected to our only three hundred year old, primal past, by this tiny thread, eating, killing, fighting and fucking are the last remnants of what, as a species, we were only a couple or three centuries in the past. Much respect.

Absolutelty love this Vespa! Seems like you got good topspeed out of it too. Actually better than my S50 2 stroke with basicly the same upgrades. Good work man.
